Sliding flyscreens can be fitted into the reveal of a window or used for patio doors. They can be the cheaper alternative to having a number of flyscreens to cover various opening windows by fitting a two or three-pane sliding screen instead.

 

Above is an example of sliding flyscreens fitted to a long row of opening windows. A mixture of two and three-pane sliders were fitted here. (Darlington College)

'Majestic' single-sliding flyscreen

 

The grille used in the Majestic design is made of aluminium and adds extra security (mesh is also fitted)
